so in physics today we started our magnetism unit, and we did a lab that looked kind of like this except messier and less cool looking.

and while doing this and playing with the iron fillings I thought ‘wow, this is basically the best thing ever, why doesn’t everyone spend their time doing this?’ 

and then I said this out loud

because really, iron fillings + magnets = the best thing ever

So it’s White Day, right? And then it’s Pi Day (my math teacher gave us mini oatmeal creampies :D). And then it’s Albert Einstein’s birthday. And so my school gave an announcement during fourth period that said something along the lines of:

“Hey everyone! As you probably know, it’s Pi Day! I bet you didn’t know that today is also Albert Einstein’s birthday! (At this point I’m thinking ‘oh, it’s white day too’) So, as we always do at Albert Einstein High School (my ears perk up at this), we’re sending doughnuts to every classroom! It’s a tradition, as you all know.” (it’s so not a tradition, who are you kidding)

And then everyone in my class proceeds to crack up because they have never in my three years of high school ever given us doughnuts in class. It was so funny; we were all like “what the hell? aw fuck it, we get doughnuts!” and then my teacher was all like “not if you don’t be quiet and work on your commentaries!”

and so today was a good day i guess.
